Do you guys do anything by Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Joe Bonamassa? Can’t wait to see ya’ll again. Keep on playin the blues. You gus are awesome. Thanx
Hey just got your cd from Christianblues. Im digging it alot, all that and its christian also what a blessing. You guys ever think about doing a dvd recording let me know Id love to get it. LORD bless ya.
Hey guys, great stuff. Just curious how these tracks were recorded. Also, I would like to download them (as advertised), but don’t see the link to do so.
Anyhow, great stuff, I really enjoy it, sounds like you guys have a great time together.
Dear HolySmokeBlues, your sound and music is just great. You should bring your show to Philadelphia and DC to the clubs/festivals down here (I live in the DC area). You would be VERY busy!!! Meanwhile, I just may have to drive up to the Altoona area to hear you in person…I really like your Red House rendition. Do you have a CD out yet??
We don’t have any CDs out, but there is supposed to be a way to download these mp3s but I don’t see the direct links here. I’ll look into it and try and get the download links working. Then you can at least have these tracks tot keep
Anthony man…great stuff! I was captivated by the blues at a fairly young age and, of course, it was Stevie that did it! Unfortunately, he was gone by the time I was aware of him. I have been playing for about 15 years and lately I’ve been checkin out your Stevie Snacks…thank you very much for the time you put into it…it has helped me tremendously! I love the Red House cover you guys have on this site, brillant! How did you get that gritty, greasy tone?! It’s great! Keep it up man, love what you guys do!
Sorry it took me so long to reply, been a bit busy at the other site. The tone for Red House is mostly coming from my Danelectro French Toast Octave/Fuzz pedal. Just using the fuzz on this track. During the solo, I’m also using the Danelectro Chili Dog octave down pedal to add a little thickness. Don’t really use those pedals much anymore because they suck too much treble out of your tone when not engaged. That’s the problem with some pedals that lack true bypass.
